PupTag Terms of Service
Effective July 27, 2026
These terms govern your use of PupTag. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them.
What PupTag is. PupTag keeps your dogs' records — profiles, vaccination certificates, licenses, and related documents — in one place, and lets you share them with the pet-care businesses you choose.
Free, and not a store. PupTag is free to use. We don't charge you, we don't process payments, and we don't sell anything. Prices and services you see in the app — day passes, memberships, and the like — belong to the pet-care businesses themselves; booking and paying happens directly between you and them. Because we never take your money, we can't issue refunds — refund questions go to the business you paid.
Your account. Keep your sign-in method secure and your information accurate. You're responsible for activity under your account. One account per person; you must be at least 18 to use PupTag.
Your content. The records, photos, and documents you upload are yours. You give us permission to store and display them to you and to the businesses you authorize — that's the entire purpose of the service and the only thing we use the permission for. You're responsible for making sure what you upload is accurate and yours to share. And to be plain: we never sell your data — see our Privacy Policy.
Records, not advice. PupTag stores and displays records; it doesn't verify their medical accuracy and doesn't provide veterinary advice. Pet-care businesses make their own decisions about admission, and requirements vary by business and by town. When in doubt about your dog's health or paperwork, ask your vet or your town clerk.
Acceptable use. Don't misuse the service: no unlawful activity, no uploading content you don't have the right to share, no attempting to access other people's data, no interfering with or reverse-engineering the service.
Availability. We work hard to keep PupTag running, but the service is provided "as is," without warranties. We may update, change, or discontinue features.
Limitation of liability. To the fullest extent the law allows, PupTag isn't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, and — as a free service — our total aggregate liability for any claim is limited to one hundred dollars.
Ending things. You can stop using PupTag and request account deletion at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that violate these terms.
Changes. If these terms change materially, we'll post the update here with a new effective date; continuing to use the service means you accept the changes.
Governing law. These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
